Oliver Tourism Association launches new Oliver BC Postcard Contest

Are you a huge fan of Oliver ? Do you have community pride and always carry your camera? Enter the postcard contest by uploading your best photos of Oliver BC.

HOW TO ENTER

Take a photo that you think represents Oliver. We are looking for images that are iconic and share the story of Oliver BC. We want to show our local flavour, our people and our culture. It doesn’t have to be a new photo; it can be one that you have already taken during any of our beautiful four seasons.

Upload your photo through Facebook by visiting

www.facebook.com/WineCapitalofCanada

and click on the photo contest tab. You can also upload your pictures through twitter by using the #OliverBCPostcards hash tag. Enter as many pictures as you would like. Submit your photo by 11:59:59 p.m. (PST) on April 30th 2013. Then you and everyone you know can vote for your favorite entries from May 1 to May 15th and determine the people’s choice winner. A panel of Judges will choose the remaining 4 winners.

THE PRIZE

5 winners will be chosen and their photos will become the new official series of postcards for Oliver. The postcards will be printed and circulated with the photographer’s names credited. The 5 winners will also receive a ‘Proud to be an Oliverite’ gift basket.
