MP Alex Atamanenko has announced the names of those individuals in the South Okanagan Similkameen area who are to receive the QEII Diamond Jubilee Medal.

Atamanenko will award medals to 6 individuals:  Brian Lobb, Solana Allison, Kim Schur, Beryl Wallace, Charles Finch and James Ouellette.

Alex will be awarding the medals in a ceremony in Oliver on February 21st – 7pm at the Legion

Previous awards of local persons in Oliver and Osoyoos: Janet Shaw, Ruth Schiller, Jason Bayda, Mike Field, Phil Fry, Dale Lahaise.

Other awards may be given at this time as well.
