On February 13, 2013 at ~13:50 Hours Oliver RCMP attended a 2 vehicle MVI at the junction of  Tuc-El-Nuit Dr. and Highway 97. Investigation determined that an 84 year old unlicensed Oliver resident failed to stop at the stop sign and pulled out in front of a female Oliver resident who was driving North on Highway 97.  Neither party sustained injuries although the female driver’s vehicle was towed from the scene.  The unlicensed offender was issued a violation ticket for No driver’s licence and Fail to Yield.

On February 15, 2013 the Oliver RCMP received a report of the theft of a Honda CRX dirt bike from the side of a residence in the 800 block of Bartlett Avenue.  The motorcycle was later recovered (February 17, 2013) abandoned in an orchard in the 5000 block of Sumac Street.  Any information with regard to suspects can be provided directly to the Oliver RCMP reference file # 2104 2013-512 or through the Crime Stoppers program.
