Budget Day in Victoria

The budget details become public just after 2 p.m. PT Tuesday when Finance Minister Mike De Jong begins speaking in the legislature.

There will be one vote today which is expected to pass allowing debate.

Michael de Jong was named Minister of Finance on September 5, 2012.
The five-term MLA previously served as Minister of Health, Attorney General, Minister of Public Safety and Solicitor General, Minister of Aboriginal Relations and Reconciliation, Minister of Labour and Citizens’ Services and Minister of Forests.
