Rundown on Hornet’s game Thursday – Valley Championships next

The Hornets have advanced to the Valley Championships with a solid 88-55 victory over OK Mission of Kelowna. The Hornets rebounded with more inspired and well executed play. The team led by 16 at half time 43-27 as all 14 players hit the floor in the first half. The second half was the same story as the team was able to continue to push the lead while enabling all players ample playing time.

The team was led by Gurkamal Dhaliwal with 19 points, Amit Chahal scored 17 and Parm Sidhu chipped in 11.

The Hornets will now play next week in the Valley Championships at Kelowna Christian Secondary School February 21-23. The team has a record of 18 wins and 11 losses.
