OK Fall school Trustee Sam Hancheroff is the third person known to have filed papers with the NDP to seek the nomination for Boundary Similkameen.

Hancheroff did not announce his intentions but was “outed” by RDOS Director Tom Siddon at a Town Hall meeting in Ok Falls.

Hancheroff says he needs to be vetted by the party before they let him know but he says he has a solid reputation in the area and is looking forward to the process.

Other candidates include Grand Forks Mayor Brian Taylor and Oliver union leader Rhonda Bruce.

This nomination process needed to replace Marji Basso who stepped out of the race last month.
