Road Conditions: Good – winter driving
Vehicle: Late model red van
Occupant: Female driver from Osoyoos hurt and transported to hospital
Police, fire and ambulance attended
Traffic: Diverted for about an hour – around the scene of accident using
Park Rill and Island Rds.

The good part of the story is that the driver was not hurt badly but needed to be
extricated from the vehicle. Passerby Doug Morton stopped his car – entered the van and
gave assistance to the motorist until emergency personnel on the scene.
Way to go Doug.
