On December 15th I was told the Osoyoos Times was sold.

On December 16th I sent the following email

Could either of you confirm that the Osoyoos Times has been purchased 100% or controlling interest by Bob Doull of Penticton?

Think this story is  of much interest to a number of people in our area.

There was no reply

On December 17 I talked to Owner and Publisher Stodola and asked a direct question – “Has the paper be sold? The direct answer – “I am very busy getting a newspaper out – the answer is NO.”

Both the Oliver Chronicle and Osoyoos Times have now confirmed that Bob Doull of Penticton has bought the Times and the article says details were hammered out in January.  Doull owns the Peachland View and the Oliver Chronicle.
