On January 23, 2013 at approximately 14:35 Hours the Oliver RCMP attended to a two vehicle collision that occurred in the Gallagher Lake area of Highway 7 near Oliver.  The collision was the result of weather conditions.  Neither Oliver resident was injured as a result of this event and vehicle damage was minimal.

On January 23rd, 2013 at 1719 Hrs Oliver RCMP were called to assist with a single vehicle accident in the area of Main St / Southwinds Ave, Oliver. A blue 2001 Ford F-150 was north bound on Main St and went off road right into a power pole causing significant damage to both the pole and the vehicle.  Investigation confirmed that the cause of the collision was medical in nature and was not associated to speed, alcohol or weather. The driver died at the scene of the  accident.
