Alan Tyabji (pictured above) became chief executive officer of the Okanagan Tree Fruit Cooperative and BC Tree Fruits Limited last fall succeeding Gary Schieck.

One of his recent moves is to hire former finance manager Warren Everton as Chief Financial Office of the two organizations named above.

Everton worked at the co-op in Oliver as finance manager some years ago – then was hired by the Town of Oliver and most recently occupied the position of CFO at the Regional District Okanagan Similkameen.

Everton will take up his new role in mid February.
