As this situation is unusual, we are trying to proceed through the process as quickly as possible.

There is a requirement to inform the membership at least 30 days in advance of the nomination meeting. We don’t plan on doing that until we know who wants to run for the nomination. We hope to have that pinned down within the next week.

There is a 90 day requirement for people voting to have been a member, but due to time constraints we may drop that requirement.

We have had a conference call where this process was discussed. It would be up to the provincial executive to decide the final rules in place based on the constitution and past practice in these sort of situations
