On January 19, 2013 at approximately 08:30 Hours the Oliver RCMP received a report from an Oliver resident residing in the 500 Block of Veterans Avenue that at some point overnight her 1981 Oldsmobile 88 was stolen.  The vehicle was recovered a short time after the report was received.  Significant damage was done by the thief who had left behind the following items:

A torch; a hammer; two screw drivers and, a newer mountain bike (left at the scene of the theft).  Anyone having information on this event is invited to contact the Oliver RCMP directly or Crime Stoppers.  Oliver Detachment File # 2104 2013-205 refers.

On January 19, 2013 at approximately 14:36 Hours the Oliver RCMP received a report of an attempted theft of a Ford F-150 pickup which had been parked in the 6000 Block of Hollow Street.
