At the last meeting of the RDOS Board – the matter of a liquor license for the restaurant at Tinhorn Creek Winery was referred back to Oliver for a review by the APC Area C.
That review by the Area Planning Committee took place Tuesday evening. It resolved to:
1. Communicate back to the Regional Board and the Land Commission that no such liquor license should be allowed on land zoned – Ag (Farm)
2. But it did recommend that a new license category be designed by the Liquor Control Branch that would allow beer, wine and spirits that are made from BC farm products and bottle here in the province.
More background to the application is below.
