Sheldon Skolos
September 22, 1985 – January 10, 2013
Sheldon Stephen Skolos (‘Big Ears Shelly’) passed away suddenly as the result of an industrial accident in Osoyoos on Thursday, January 10th in his 28th year.
Lovingly remembered by life partner, Amanda Frew; 2 sons, Damian and Michael Skolos and stepson, Lyric Gartner. Survived by parents, Gary Skolos and Brenda Armstrong; brothers, Brandon & Devin Skolos, Brody Rivard and sister, Tory Carli Brook Rivard. Sheldon enjoyed working as a carpenter and iron worker.
Above all he was a “Jack of all Trades,” superman! He loved music and enjoyed singing and dancing. He was a Karaoke King. He loved spending time with his family and friends and when he walked into a room he created a presence that brought so much life and laughter. Every day was an adventure with him and you never knew what he would say or do next. He was incredibly funny, always laughing or making someone else laugh. There is no one we will ever meet quite like Sheldon. He will be missed and fondly remembered by many people who loved him.
A private family visitation was held on Sunday afternoon. A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, January 17, 2013 at 11:00 o’clock at the Air Cadet Hall, Cessna Street, Oliver. Pastor Jeremy Cook officiating. Arrangements entrusted to: Graham Funeral Home 5920 Kootenay Street, Oliver B.C. (250) 498-3833.
