This is my picture of the total eclipse of the sun taken at sea, Nov 14. We were on the Celebrity Millenium north of New Zealand for the eclipse, we visited New Zealand and Australia and other ports of call. Eversince we returned home there has been snow on the ground but have warm memories of our vacation plus lots of photos.

The photo…. as the last bit of sun disappears behind the moon at totality, the flare out of the sun is known as the “Diamond Ring Effect”
