In Phoenix and on our way to Thousand Palms, California. We left in the snow but it was bare and dry on our way south. The first photos is of the the stark and dramatic beauty of the Nevada desert.
Next is at the Hoover Dam. We drove across the Mike O’Callallghan-Pat Tillman memorial bridge from the west to the east. The right hand lane was closed and when we drove back under the bridge we could see a mechanical arm with a bucket at the end and some person in the bucket. They must have been doing some sort of repair work and hopefully the man in the bucket got danger pay – the bridge is 900 feet above the Colorado.
Hope you are well.
