June Hamm

June 6, 1933 – December 30, 2012

On Sunday December 30, 2012, Mrs. June Charlestine Hamm of Oliver passed away peacefully at Sunnybank Centre at the age of 79 years.

She was predeceased by her husband William “Willie” Hamm.

June will be fondly remembered by her loving family including daughter Jean (Don) Stephens; son Bill (Tina) Hamm; grandchildren Tabatha (Ryan), Rebecca (Ryan), Kathleen (Chris), David (Amy), Audrey (Max), Rik Stephens, Greg Stephens, Dan (Melanie) Stephens, Katelyn Shaw, Spencer Shaw; great-grandchildren Hailey, Bruin, Alexa, Emma, Devon, Julianna, and Kendra; siblings Bud, Beth, Lou, Paul, Alf and Donna, as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

June enjoyed a long thirty-year career at the Oliver CIBC branch. She also enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and the outdoors.

A graveside service will be held in June, 2013 at the Oliver Municipal Cemetery.

The family would like to thank all the wonderful staff at the Poppy Wing at Sunnybank Centre for the loving care given to our Mom, also to Dr. Mark Hamilton and the staff of Nunes-Pottinger Funeral Service for their support and care.
