Mr. Marcus Toneatto takes up new post as principal of the South Okanagan Secondary School. Mr. Toneatto replaces Cate Turner who has taken over the Similkameen Elementary Secondary School at Keremeos.

Marcus says he is looking forward to meeting each student and staff member and thinks it will take a number of years to learn everyone’s first name. He says the Grade 8 classes will be at SOSS the longest which will mean they are very special.

Toneatto says it is quite the challenge to come to a facility that has the history of the Oliver school and he looks forward to the completion of all the buildings on campus including the new auditorium.
