Idle No More Okanagan staged a peaceful event to show solidarity with other Idle No More events across Canada and internationally

Gathering of Drums held today south of Osoyoos.

The focus will be on drumming and singing and will include a closing song and prayer.

Idle No More is a movement created in reaction to alleged abuse of indigenous treaty rights by the Harper government taking issue with the recent omnibus bill, Bill C-45.
