Please inform your readers that Santa will be at Oliver’s Kiwanis Market Saturday, December 15, 2012, to give good boys & girls a candy cane. He will be there 8:30 AM until 12:30 in the afternoon.

Come and share the Christmas Spirit at Unit # 120 in Country Pines Retirement Community, 8487 Highway 97. Jeff and Gloria Luypen have been collecting items for their village for over 10 years, to the point where it is now too big for the house and we have had to move it to the garage. Hot chocolate and cookies will be served to one and all who drop by. December 15th 20th 21st and 22nd from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. We will also have a donation box to collect for the food bank.   Wishing One and All a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

Oliver air cadets are going to be selling Christmas Trees again this year at 38640 Hwy 97 – north of town.  December 15 and 16 and December 22 and 23 from 10am to 4pm We offer good music, good cheer, hot chocolate and hotdogs. The trees are mostly Blue Spruce, they are absolutely gorgeous.

“The Little Artist”, along with their teacher Leza Macdonald, invite you to a show and sale of their art work on Saturday, Dec. 15th at 2:00 p.m. at 522 Fairview Road across from the Post Office. Come for some punch, cookies and fine art!!
