The Okanagan Motorcycle Riders Association (OMRA) recently gave out money to South Okanagan Charities.  This was money raised over the past year in the South Okanagan through poker runs, raffles, and various other fundraising events. Pictured is President Red Young presenting a cheque for $350.00 to Wayne Danbrook of the Oliver Knights of Columbus Christmas Hamper program, a worthy cause which the Knights organizes every year.  OMRA draws its membership from Peachland to Osoyoos. Similar cheques where given to the Christmas Hamper programs in Osoyoos and OK Falls , South Okanagan Women In Need Society, Penticton Discovery House, Okanagan Similkameen Neurological Society, Summerland Toonies/Toys for Tots and Teens, Penticton Soupeteria and the Penticton BMX club.

The Penticton St. Vincent Du Paul Society received the benefits of The South Okanagan Toy Run which totaled $1600.00 and a pick up filled with new toys.  This event was organized by the OMRA earlier this year.
