The first place winners of this level will receive a monitary award and they will be invited with a chaperone to Ottawa on Nov. 11 next year and they will have the huge honour of laying a wreath on the national cenotaph representing they youth of Canada.
Local past history – Over the past 10 years Oliver has had 1st place, 2nd place, and 3rd place winners at the provincial level. Our goal and dream is to one day have an Oliver student in Ottawa laying a wreath on behalf of all the youth in Canada! Maybe this will be our year!
