Kamloops area accident sends 5 to hospital during blizzard

1 in critical condition in Kamloops hospital and 22 treated at the scene. Earlier reports indicated 5 seriously injured but details sketchy.

Site: 10 minutes south of Kamloops at the Inks Lake Rd area  (Exit 355) off the Coquihalla highway 5.

Time: 630 Wednesday evening

Vehicles involved: SUV, Semi- trailer truck,  Tour bus, another Semi, a Sedan

Preliminary details: All vehicles in northbound lane heading to Kamloops

Semi-trailer hit SUV, then driver of semi hit by bus on roadway, another semi hits bus and at least one other vehicle had difficulty in stopping and hit road curb. 30 passengers on bus. Tour bus front window had to be broken to get passengers out as door pinned to Semi.
