A letter from SOSS to the Oliver Parks and Recreation Society asks for support for the Senior Girls Field Hockey team that attended the provincials November 7-10.

SOSS Athletic Director Steve Podmorrow says 19 girls attended and the cost is about $5000. Most of the money raised from the families of those attending.

Staff at the Park and Recreation Department are recommending a $200 subsidy in the form of a grant in aid.
