The Oliver Parks and Recreation Society will ask for guidance in its next brochure – the winter edition – which should be published and distributed before Christmas. This guidance is needed before any further planning will be done on covering the existing outdoor community pool.

The winter brochure will contain a survey of users and tax payers and ask a number of questions that we have included in a new ODN poll to the right.

Our poll will last until Sunday night to give the maximum number of participants. ODN will not use the wording below from the minutes of the Parks and Recreation minutes.

The questions are:

Do you support covering the existing outdoor swimming pool? Yes or No

How much of a tax increase are you prepared to pay annually to support the development and operating of covering the outdoor swimming pool?

$250, $350.$450, $550 or more??
