BYLAW NO. 2585.06, 2012 REGIONAL DISTRICT OF OKANAGAN- SIMILKAMEEN 2012-2016 FIVE YEAR FINANCIAL PLAN AMENDMENT BYLAW

The Willowbrook Fire Protection Service has planned the replacement of their aging Fire Pumper Truck in the 2013 budget for $46,000. An early opportunity to replace the truck has arisen and the Department has entered into a bidding process to secure a 1990 Simon Duplex Pumper Truck for roughly $30,000.

The purchase is proposed to be funded through the Willowbrook Fire Capital Reserve which has a December 31, 2011 balance of $35,437. There is also a $10,000 transfer to the reserve planned for 2012. The RDOS Board adopted
