A very cold day in Oliver but no wind and no snow, so should not be complaining. About 400 people gathered outside the Village Hall to watch the laying of the wreaths. Trumpet playing, singing of ‘O Canada’ and ‘God Save the Queen’. Three old planes flew over, the third hanging back…
Not to forget … the parade of soldiers, fire department, police, cadets and many more. Very impressive parade.

Remembrance Day. To all the brave men & women who put their lives on the line for freedom past and present. Lest We Forget
They shall grow not old as we that are left grow old
Age shall not weary them nor the years condemn
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We will remember them
