He was selected by his teacher, Mrs Marques, as a “Thoughtful” Kiwanis Terrific Kid for the month of September.
The Acronym for Terrific is as follows:
T – Thoughtful
E – Enthusiastic
R – Respectful
R – Responsible
I – Inclusive
F – Friendly
I – Inquistitive
C – Capable
Each month the classroom teacher (except kindergarten) selects a terrific kid for the trait (above). At the end of the month, Mrs. Mckay and Mrs. Wood from the Kiwanis club of Oliver hand out the awards to students (8 in total each month).
