We understand that FLNRO ( Provincial – Forests, Lands and Natural Resources) has issued its approval and that DFO ( Federal – Department or Fisheries and Oceans) has approved the aquaculture permit.

However, the waste-water discharge permit, which is issued by the Ministry of Environment’s environmental quality office, is still under consideration, in part because the applicant still needs to forward an application containing an approved aquaculture permit number.
