Cpl. Jason Bayda, Second in Charge of the Osoyoos RCMP Detachment attended the South East District awards ceremony held in Vernon recently at which time he was awarded the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee.  Cpl. BAYDA received the award in recognition of his accomplishments in building relationships between the force and the community while stationed in Lytton from 2007 to 2009.

 

Cst Phil FRY was awarded the Queens Diamond jubilee Medal in recognition for his many years as a Police DARE Officer.  He has taught this valuable drug resistance program to hundreds of youth.  He was also recognized for his countless hours volunteering in Osoyoos and the Lower Mainland area for youth and charities as a trained clown.
