On October 29th (Monday) at approximately 11:00 PM a 30 year old male, temporarily a resident of Osoyoos, attended to the Oliver 7-11 for a pre-arranged meeting. On arrival the victim was approached by two males described as:
- 6′ tall, 200 lbs, Caucasian, French speaking
- both wearing dark hooded sweaters with scarves covering their faces.
The two suspects demanded money from the victim and brandished a small bat and a mag light style flashlight in an effort to intimidate and motivate the victim to provide cash. The victim was able to escape his attackers and the attackers fled the scene. Oliver RCMP are investigating with the assistance of the South Okanagan & Similkameen Regional GIS Unit.
