Weather does not appear cold but slippery sections can cause accidents. Truck with a driver only spun out after crossing #9 Road bridge this morning and ended up deep in a gulley. He called friends on a cell phone as he couldn’t get out. They called 911 and the Oliver Fire Department was called to extricate him.

By the time the OFD was there – the driver had got out and was being treated by ambulance crews who took him to SO General Hospital for a check up. No serious injuries.
