December 4, 1944 – October 14, 2012

 

On Sunday October 14th  Richard William Kirtzinger  of Osoyoos passed away at the South Okanagan General Hospital at the age of 67 years. He was predeceased by his sister Evelyn Kirtzinger; mother Clementine and father Martin Kirtzinger. Richard will be fondly remembered by his daughter Shelley (Tony) Madeira and grandchildren Courtney and Chelsey; son Darcy (Isabel) Kirtzinger and grandchildren Chantel and Dalton; ex-wife Elaine Kirtzinger; brothers Delmer Kirtzinger, Harold Kirtzinger, and Lambert (Cora) Kirtzinger; sisters Angeline (Adolph) Heck, Rosemarie Kohle and Annie (Paul) Florizon. Richard enjoyed retirement after working for Gerard’s Equipment in Oliver. He loved to travel back to his homeland in Saskatchewan to visit his brothers and sisters. Richard also enjoyed hunting and fishing. He had a witty personality, a kind heart and will be missed by many. A memorial mass will be celebrated By Fr. Dave De Souza at 11:00 A.M. Monday October 22, 2012 at St. Anne’s Catholic Church. Interment and committal will follow at the Osoyoos Lakeview Cemetery followed by a reception in the church lower hall.
