Could have been lightning on one tree southwest of the Robert Stelkia stables.

Flames could be seen in this picture as late as ten o’lock. Smoke evident since daybreak. Access to the area is limited –  fire is being monitored.

Location: East of Oliver – 2 miles up McKinney Rd. – south of roadway on flats.

Oliver Fire Department report from last night: A transformer malfunctioned causing fire on pole on Meadows Drive north of Knodel’s Corner.  Once power turned off by Fortis – pole fire extinguished.

A kitchen fire reported at Arbor Lane suites on 6600 block Park Drive was extinguished quickly.
