I am the Literacy Coordinator for the South Okanagan Similkameen. One of the programs we coordinate is the One to One Tutor proogram in School District 53.

Tuc El Nuit Elementary is starting this program this fall and is in need of volunteers in the community who would come to the school for 90 minutes once a week and read with 3 children.

The program runs 10-12 weeks both in the fall and in the winter. There will be a free 2.5 hour training session at Tuc El Nuit school on Oct 18 from 9-11:45.

I would love it if you would run a notice asking for volunteers.
