Mike and Leigh Johnson cleaning up rubble at site of recent fire at EZ Fuel, north of Oliver. Owner Terry Feeny says insurance will cover a lot of the damage done. Fire believed to have started by arsonists.
Feeny says he just discovered that thieves have cut out a large amount of copper wire that was installed for controls to the pumps and tanks. This will cost additional money to repair.
Feeny says he wants to rebuild quickly and get the business up and running but much to be done until then. Only the brick structure will remain after the rubble is removed. The pump canopy will be repaired and partially reconstructed.
