This year at Okanagan Boys and Girls Clubs we have a unique fundraising opportunity! The Farm Bag fundraiser is a program that aims to assist groups in raising funds while promoting local, sustainable, healthy living and eating. Each month families or individuals who sign up for the Farm Bag will receive a 20 lb bag of carefully selected local seasonal fruits and vegetables. The approximate value of the equivalent in a grocery store is $36 but with Farm Bag you only pay $30 per month for a 3-5 month subscription. If you would rather just try the Farm Bag for one month or order on a month by month basis, subscriptions are $34 per month.

The goal of this fundraiser is to generate funds to promote sustainable, healthy living practices among our members, staff, community partners, families and friends. Funds will be used to support our youth program in Oliver. The fundraiser is available to anybody wanting to sign up and the more subscriptions the better! So please help us out by posting the attached posters in your staff room or business reception area and forwarding this email to your contacts, friends & family.

Pick up will be at the Oliver Boys and Girls Club at 475 School Avenue. Information regarding dates and times, as well as sign up and payment options are available on www.farmbagfundraiser.com . The deadline for ordering an October Farm Bag is this Friday October 5.
