Hammer’s House of Hog would like to thank all our many customers in the Oliver and Osoyoos area, and indeed the entire southern Okanagan, for an outstanding summer! This is our busiest season so far and I appreciate my many returning customers who just can’t get their fill of barbeque.
We’ll be open until the end of September, closing for the season, as we traditionally do, at the Festival of the Grape on September 30.
True barbeque (or barbecue or BBQ or Bar-B-Q or Bar-B-Que or just Q), not to be confused with high heat grilling, is the preferred method for producing the tastiest cuts of meat. At the House of Hog we are inspired by the authentic barbeque traditions of the American South, and bring the mouth-watering tastes of real BBQ to the Okanagan. Respecting time-honoured practices, all of our cuts of meat are slow cooked for up to 12 hours with hickory wood.
Don’t be fooled by imitators, this is TRUE AUTHENTIC barbeque the way it was meant to be!
Last day of season at the Bel Air Friday September 28. Last chance for pulled pork…Sunday September 30 at the Festival of the Grape!
Thanks again and we’ll see you soon. If you don’t know where Hammer’s is located, just follow your nose to the sweet smell of hickory wood on Hwy 97!! (at the Bel Air Cedar Resort just ½ km south of Southwinds Crossing)
