“The South Okanagan Figure Skating Club instructor has moved out of town. Shelley Mantua was with the club for about 10 years and it was sad to see her go. The kids will miss her a lot! The board has been working hard since end of June trying to find an instructor for our club. There seems to be a shortage of qualified coaches out there.

We are very fortunate to now have a coach agree to come from another club to help us out this year – one day a week instruction. We will continue our search for a coach and hope that we will be back running (skating) 5 days a week next year.”
