The Osoyoos & District Museum and Archives has been approved as the local organizers for PechaKucha Nights! PechaKucha is a interesting presentation format developed in Japan by Klein Dytham architecture, each presenter can show 20 slides each for 20 seconds, this means that each presentation is less than 7 minutes long so it one evening we will hear from 8 or more different people on a wide variety of topics.
We think this could be a very fun social event in Osoyoos and are looking forward our first presentation which will be taking place as part of our Culture Days weekend on Saturday, September 29 at 2pm. We already have a few presenters lined up but are looking for more! Feel free to forward the attached information to members of your organization and anyone else you think would be interested in attending or presenting at this or future events.
Feel free to contact me if you have any questions!
