“As an extension to the Art program with Leza Macdonald that was supported by the Farm to school Salad Bar program at Oliver Elementary School, Marji Basso’s Grade 5 class walked to the community gardens to check and sketch the sunflowers that were planted last spring. The sketches will be used in class to create a pastel rendering of the magnificent flowers.”
