Cathy Birtwistle submitted a photograph for the Fall Art Show and Sale poster contest and that was selected as best by judges and has become part of the poster graphic for 2012.

Artists from all visual arts media are invited to submit works to the 2012 Fall Art Show and Sale: painting, fibre arts, sculpture, photography, and a variety of three-dimensional arts including lapidary, woodworking, leather working, and so on. The theme of the exhibit and competition is “Casting Shadows”, which can be interpreted however the artist finds inspiration.
