RCMP monitored the fire scene from the time that Fire Department left the scene until about 11am this morning – when a private security firm arrived.

Oliver Fire Department dispatched at 14 minutes to 1 a.m. to fight the blaze. Cause of the blaze unknown. Location: Highway 97 – about 5 miles north of Oliver at Tuc-el-nuit Drive. Business name: EZ Fuel (gas outlet) not open yet – major renovations to building and underground tankage.
15 members fought the fire including two life members – 5 pieces of equipment. Some issues with supply of water – Okanagan Falls Fire Department asked to bring their water tender to assist. Most damage to the roof and interior – walls still up.
