“My husband and I went for a walk along the hike and bike path last weekend – we went onto it by the splash park and headed south. We were totally dismayed by the condition of the path! There has been minimal clean up since the big wind storm, with branches and debris massed along both sides, broken tree limbs still hanging down, and in one place a couple of trees are completely down across the path so anyone on a bike has to dismount and walk the bike underneath (and all this within town limits). Here we are in midsummer and the town promotes the path as a tourist attraction, so why hasn’t it been cleaned up? It’s a total disgrace!” – Grace Raber
