Food bank replenished by audience at Music in the Park

Carli & Julie Kennedy’s Music In The Park concert Thursday. The concert was a huge success with the Kennedys receiving a standing ovation. As you know, the Oliver Community Arts Council partnered with Valley First for this “Feed the Valley” concert, and I am happy to report that over 120 lbs. of food as well as $300.00 in donations for the Oliver Food Bank were received.

Next Thursday, July26th at 6:30 pm, Music In The Park will present Dale Seaman and Mikie Spillett, two wonderful local country and western singers and guitarists. Singing a range of country hits and original music, they are sure to be real crowd-pleasers. The Oliver Lioness club will be there again with their delicious desserts (by donation), and the Oliver WOW club will have a variety of thirst-quenching soft drinks for sale. All concerts take place at Oliver’s historic CPR Station – Visitor Centre.
