The annual Oliver Canada Day Pancake Breakfast will take place at Oliver Community Park on Sunday July 1st from 8:30am-10:30am. Everyone is welcome to come down to enjoy a free pancake breakfast, bubble and face painting stations, and a special visit from the Oliver Fire Department volunteers and fleet. The Oliver Pool will also be open
for a free public swim from 9-11am.
“We saw so much national spirit at this event last year and are ready to feed lots of folks again this time – in 2011 we saw approx. 450 people come through the line”, says event co-coordinator Carol Sheridan. “The Oliver Ambassadors will also be on site this year selling ducks for their big Duck Race fundraiser taking place on July13th.”
Support for this event is once again being provided by Heritage Canada.
