Oliver Fire Department members called to a a fire on top of a hill north of the town centre Wednesday night caused by campers that some people are quite concerned about if the weather continues to dry out the land.

No fire hydrants up that hill so fireman had to use portable tanks to douse the embers. Exact location – south west of Leighton Crescent.
