At last night’s Rotary meeting, outgoing president, Ann Hayes presented this cheque for $6000 to Trudy Demorest and Janet Shaw of the Desert Valley Hospice Society. This is the Rotary Club’s ongoing commitment to support local initiatives. The hospice society partnered with the Rotary club at their recent auction in April and this is part of those proceeds being put to the benefit of our community.
