Cheer on the team – tonight


The picture above is the 2011 Team – names below are Oliver players on the 2012 team.

With all the Euro 2012 action in the soccer world, I thought it would be newsworthy to send a note to the Oliver Daily News regarding some local boys playing in the Penticton Men’s Soccer League.  Local players are Brian Machial, Tyler Machial, Leigh Johnson, Sean Petterson, Mathew Pond, Jesse Forrest, Brandon Greener, Rhys Pender, Aaron Godard, Jeremy Luypen and Jeff Nice.

We have our first Oliver home game tonight at SOSS.  Kickoff is at 6:30pm against Soccer Mad Chelsea (A mostly English Team from Penticton)  We are planning to play the next five weeks in Oliver on Thursday nights.

It would be great if we could get some local fans to cheer on the team.   There are many soccer fans in the South Okanagan.
