On June 11th, 2012 it was reported to Police that a sign made of clay that had been hanging on the side of the art gallery had been stolen. The sign is roughly 3 feet by 3 feet in size and is quite heavy requiring numerous people to carry it. If anyone has information on this crime please contact the Osoyoos RCMP.
On June 12th, 2012 at 12:13 am Osoyoos RCMP were called to assist the Osoyoos Fire department with a grass fire 18 kilometres west of Osoyoos on Hwy 3 near the Nighthawk border crossing.
On June 12th, 2012 A Police Officer on Patrol was waved down by a male who reported that the rear window of his blue 2007 Chevrolet Optra, had been smashed out while it was parked at the Owl Pub. Police spoke with pub patrons but no witnesses to the mischief to the vehicle were found. If anyone has information on this crime please contact the Osoyoos RCMP.
On June 14th, 2012, at 9:00 am, the female owner of a Toyota Corolla reported her car had been stolen overnight from her residence on 92nd Ave. The 2010, white 4 door Toyoto Corolla, with BC Licence 703-LPF has stickers with “The Dance Studio” on both the passenger and driver side windows. If anyone has information on the location of this stolen vehicle please contact the Osoyoos RCMP.
Over the last week the Police dealt with numerous Noise Bylaw complaints and calls of people being Intoxicated in Pubic and also drinking in public.
